Quality of Work > Deadline | We care a lot more about the quality and usefulness of your work than a quick turnaround time. We don’t believe in man-made deadlines but the total number of tasks completed during your participation in the program does weigh on your performance evaluation. But not as much as quality; if it’s not good, don’t turn it in! You can get feedback anytime you wanthere
Document your Steps | Please jot down all all the steps you took to get to your solution
Pics > Text | Whenever possible, give us PowerPoints over Word docs and Visuals over Text. How can I elucidate my point with the least number of words in the shortest time possible? This is something you should always think about. And how digestible is the information? Will it be retained? Visuals do a much better job of this than words.
Screen Record | (for Programmers & App Developers Only) Launch the app you’ve built and screen record yourself using it; walk us through the user experience.
Stealth Companies | Companies that are in Stealth Mode have intentionally vague descriptions to a) ensure that they stays relatively under wraps and b) because it allows you to mold them with suggestions about the startup. Use your imagination; the more ideas and suggestions, the better the quality of the task. Stealth companies are always a work in progress, hopefully your contribution will be a big part of their direction.
Unlimited Support | There are plenty of experts who can help along the way if you get stuck. All you need to do isask
Concierge Service | Concierges are here to help. They can answer your questions or send you examples. Just ask them and they’ll connect you to the right person to guide you in the right direction.
Email > Zoom | The best way to get in touch with us is via email. Meetings create headwinds which slows things down. We’ve found that the fastest and most effective way is via email. Efficiency is how we look at everything and that’s the same when it comes to productivity.
Performance Evaluation Score |You’ll receive a final evaluation on your overall performance. We evaluate you based on the difficulty and quality of tasks completed versus how much company time and resources you used up to complete your tasks.
Be Self Sufficient | Our concierges are extremely helpful and responsive but you don’t need to wait around for them for answers. Google is your best friend. Google something to find your answers. Roll up your sleeves, Google it, Find examples, Take them apart, Then reverse-engineer it by copying it and making the necessary changes.
Task Selection | If you’re going to need a ton of help and tutorials in order to complete the task don’t select it; only pick tasks you can actually complete.
